What It Is
Drew Lenz's Deming Pub is my office bar and golf simulator, built for hitting balls and having a drink with friends. It's named after a loyal UHP employee and friend, taken from us far too soon. Bring your group, book a slot. The golf and drinks are always free!
This was also the brainchild and vision of my good friend Jason Buckley of Select One Mortgage. Couldn't have done it without him.

Andrew William “Drew” Lenz
2002 – 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Andrew William “Drew” Lenz, who died unexpectedly in a snowboarding accident in Colorado on Friday, February 28, 2025. Drew was 22 years old.
Drew was the cherished son of Jeff and Susan (Maulick) Lenz, and the loving big brother to Aidan and Dylan. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 2020 and was finishing his college degree while also working part-time at UHP Marketing here in Madison. Drew’s devotion to his family and friends was evident in everything he did, and his passion for sports and helping others defined who he was.
Drew’s infectious smile and warm, loving nature made him a friend to many. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was truly a gentle giant who had the ability to make anyone feel special.
In addition to school and work, Drew volunteered as a coach, assisting with his brothers’ lacrosse team, where he was a positive role model and a mentor to younger players. He found joy in many activities including fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and playing poker and euchre with his friends and family. Drew was an avid lover of sports, excelling in hockey, lacrosse, and golf, always playing with enthusiasm and heart.
One of Drew’s favorite places in the world was the family cabin on Rest Lake in northern Wisconsin. It was here that he created countless memories with family and friends, whether it was fishing, water sports, or just relaxing by the fire. Drew also had a special place in his heart for the family dogs, Bella and Roxy, and they brought him much joy and love.
Drew was deeply loved by everyone who knew him, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched. He will be remembered for his generosity, his love of life, and the way he made the world a better place with his kind and bright spirit.
This space carries Drew’s name in his honor.
